Recently, Suzhou AGERA Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. successfully secured a spot on the Jiangsu Province “Three Firsts and Two News” recognition list for 2025 with its self-developed double-ended pulsation flash butt welding machine for new energy e-drive bridge axles.
The “Three Firsts and Two News” initiative is a specialized certification system established by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology to promote the development and application of new technologies and products. It primarily includes four categories, with the first being “first-set” equipment—innovative machinery that achieves significant breakthroughs in variety and technical parameters while meeting domestically leading or internationally advanced performance standards.
This recognition highlights the company’s innovative strength in the new energy vehicle equipment manufacturing sector. The double-ended pulsation flash butt welding machine for e-drive axles, which was submitted for certification, is specifically designed for flash butt welding of axle ends and tubes in heavy-duty truck suspension systems. It incorporates multiple innovative technologies.
The equipment utilizes pulsation flash resistance welding technology, which requires no filler welding wire. It offers fast heating speed, high efficiency, and minimal energy loss, enabling efficient single-step welding of both axle ends and the tube. It is also adaptable to various axle tube cross-section shapes, such as square and circular, as well as different lengths of intermediate axle tubes.
Furthermore, this product has optimized and established a flash butt welding process database, enabling full-process data management to ensure welding quality stability and traceability. This inclusion in Jiangsu’s “Three Firsts and Two News” list will further advance Suzhou AGERA’s development in the new energy vehicle equipment sector and contribute to technological upgrades within the industry.
