Traditionally, the welding is done by manually moving the electrodes, but now it can be equipped with different degrees of automation functions, such as automatic welding with the XY axis movement of the welding head, and equipped with movable platforms and other functions. Principle of Gantry Spot Welding Machine
Agera’s Gantry spot welding machines are a form of resistance welding machine. The workpiece is placed on the working platform. When working, the electrode or platform moves so that the electrode is precisely located at the welding position. During spot welding, the electrode presses the workpiece tightly, and the current instantly passes through the electrode and the workpiece to generate resistance heat for welding. The electrode will move to each welding point one by one to complete the welding of a workpiece.
