The Agera AZDB-260*2 is an automatic platform spot welder built specifically for welding nuts on automotive components. Because the workpieces are heavy and manual positioning is difficult, we designed a servodriven moving fixture that carries the part to the welding station. The system integrates multiple automation features, giving the equipment good flexibility for different production needs.
The longstroke platform accommodates a wide range of product sizes:
X axis effective travel ≥ 1400 mm
Y axis effective travel ≥ 360 mm
It supports workpieces up to 1600 × 1300 mm, covering several product types with one machine – so you reduce equipment investment while handling multiple projects.
Key Benefits
The machine uses a servomoving platform with twostation sequential welding. For nuts or inserts spaced at 80 mm, the cycle time is ≤ 5 seconds. This improves production efficiency by over 60% compared to manual welding, making it suitable for highvolume production across multiple projects.
The magazine holds no less than 5000 pieces of welding inserts or square nuts, reducing the frequency of refills. One refill supports more than 8 hours of continuous operation, significantly cutting material loading time and lowering operator fatigue.
A single sheet may require welding up to 100 nuts – which fully tests the stability of the welding process. With Agera’s nut projection welder, every nut is welded with consistent strength. In destructive testing, the weld nugget pulls through the base material, confirming the joint integrity.
